We recently hired Mas Amor Photography to photograph our wedding and were blown away with how great the entire experience was. It wasn’t easy to find the right photographer to capture our special day but we were very lucky to come across Mas Amor through online recommendations and could not be more thrilled with that decision. Miriam is a very talented photographer who was fantastic to work with. She has a great eye for capturing photographs both with her own inspirations in mind as well as listening to ideas you have as well. She did a great job communicating with us before the event so we were all on the same page and was quick to return any emails regarding information our venue needed and questions we had for her. She was also upfront with cost and the contract which was an easy harmless process. On the day of the event Miriam was there early to get an idea of the space, she did a great job guiding both of us as well as our family and wedding party in group and couples photographs, she captured amazing photographs of the ceremony from different angles, while also capturing great candid photos of us and our guests throughout the event. After the wedding we received a few teaser images and fairly soon after we received the rest of the photos. We were very impressed with how quickly we got the photos but were even more impressed with the quality! Some photographers will do too much post-production work with heavy filters and tweaks while some photographers probably leave their photographs too raw, but neither of those were the case here. Whatever Miriam did was absolutely perfect! They turned out even better than we could have hoped for and we are incredibly grateful to have such amazing pictures of our special day that we can back at forever. “Miriam and Ruben are amazing! We have been using them for three years now for our family pictures and each year we fall in love all over again with the pictures that they capture of our family. They are always up for my ideas, I love how they are flexible with scheduling, they go on the search for location with the vision I have in mind, and giving me ideas for color schemes. Most of all though during our sessions there is always a laughing fest among all of us and after each session when we get our pictures back there is a crying fest from me because of how well they capture each and every one of us. “My wife and I first asked Ruben to take our very first family photo with our first born (son) in 2014 and the photos came out amazing. We used his photos for our Christmas card and as our family photo which we hung in our living room. He was very patient with us and our little guy and he was willing to meet us at the location we really wanted to be shot at. In March, 2017, we asked Ruben to photograph our family, along with my in-laws, once again since we recently added to our family, another baby boy. This time he met us at the El Dorado Nature Center in Long Beach and he was accompanied by his wife, Miriam. Again, they were very patient with our family, our toddler was not cooperating at times and we had to be delicate with our 6-month old. The two worked great as a team, taking a variety of shots to make sure they were capturing the moment and our love for each other. The turnaround to get the photos was quick and they were BEAUTIFUL. They captured my smiley baby and my rambunctious toddler. I would recommend Ruben and Miriam and will definitely call them again for our next family photo.”
